Nevertheless, it is essential that customers store capsules under proper controlled conditions to ensure product integrity and avoid any potential quality issues.  

To ensure optimal quality and performance, Vital Caps empty capsules should be stored under controlled conditions. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in compromised capsule integrity, appearance, or functionality.

 Temperature

• Recommended Range: 15°C - 25°C (59°F - 77°F)
• High Temperatures (>30°C/86°F): May cause capsules to soften, deform, or melt, leading to capsules sticking together.
• Low Temperatures (<10°C/50°F, particularly below 0°C/32°F): Can make capsules brittle, reducing their mechanical strength.

 Humidity

• Recommended Range: 45% – 55% relative humidity
• Excessive Humidity: Causes capsules to absorb moisture, become soft, sticky, and deformed, which can negatively impact quality and shelf life.
• Overly Dry Conditions: Can cause capsules to lose moisture, resulting in brittleness and reduced durability.

 Light

• Capsules should be stored in dark, enclosed storage areas.
• Direct sunlight or prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light should be avoided, as this can degrade capsule material over time.

 Environment

• Storage areas must be clean, well-ventilated, and free from dust and contaminants.
• Capsules should be kept away from strong odors, including fragrances and chemicals, as capsule material may absorb external smells.
